About Us
In Siliflo was founded by a trio of computer scientists with almost 20 years of combined experience in bioinformatics and statistical analysis. Realizing that current systems did not completely fulfill researcher needs, they created In Siliflo to develop higher quality data management systems.
In Siliflo is based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Craig Knox, President & CEO :: As a Bioinformatician at the University of Alberta, Craig developed and maintained software data-mining tools to aid in the analysis of small molecules and associated SNP, protein, and disease information. He also developed such databases as DrugBank and the Human Metabolome Database (HMDB). Craig is an avid traveler with Nepal and Thailand as favourite places to visit.

Joseph Cruz, CTO :: As a Programmer Analyst and Bioinformatician at the University of Alberta, Joseph developed laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for research in kidney and heart transplantation and online tools for predicting protein structure. A sports enthusiast, Joseph can often be found shooting hoops or snowboarding.

Roman Eisner, CSO :: Upon completing graduate studies in computing science at the University of Alberta, Roman joined the U of A as a Bioinformatician, contributing to several publications regarding topics such as the Human Metabolome Database (HMDB) and protein sequences. In his spare time, Roman enjoys playing hockey and the strategic board game Go.
